COPA SPACES

COPA Soccer Training Center’s 100,000 square foot facility has a space for people of all ages, from dynamic soccer training spaces to state-of-the-art fitness areas.

Marcia “Tafa” Tafarel represented the Brazilian women’s national soccer team in two World Cup competitions and at the 1996 summer Olympics. She has 22 years of youth soccer coaching and mentorship experience and leads the COPA Kids program.

Barry played professional soccer in Ireland for 5 years before being drawn to the world of applied exercise science and youth athletic development. Barry is the Director of SpeedLab, and he teaches and assesses running techniques and dynamic movement for SpeedLab members.

Zac coached soccer at Indiana University, Northern Illinois University, and Lake Forest College. While serving as an assistant coach at Indiana, he led the Hoosiers to two College Cups, setting the NCAA record for shutouts in 2017. He is the Director of Camps and Goalkeeping at COPA STC.

Shawn has over a decade of experience as a personal trainer. She has managed a variety of fitness-focused teams and currently oversees fitness memberships, group exercise programs, and personal trainers as the Director of COPA Fit.
